It is all set to
approve 7% D.A. for Central employees and pensioners by the cabinet. The cabinet
meeting scheduled on Friday, the 21st September has been rescheduled on Tuesday
and then advanced to Monday (24/09/2012) evening.
Once approved the total Dearness Allowance payable from 1st July 2012 will be 72% of total pay. Employees are likely to get 3 months arrears in cash and the enhanced pay will be effected from the salary of October 2012.
Pensioners are likely to get it with the pension of October 2012.
