In
the neo-liberlisation policy being aggressively being implemented by the
UPA-II Government, VVIP is not the aam admi, but the rich corporates and
business houses. The central government has given a tax concession of Rs. 5.22
lakh crores to them towards tax concession. The subsidy given to the crores of
poor in the country is far less than the tax concession to the rich. The NPA
(Non Performing Assets - meaning loans not returned to the Banks, mainly PSU
Banks) is lakh crores, which is mainly the loan taken by the corporates and
the big business and not returned,
Of
course it is well understood that this government stands for the rich and
powerful and not or the poor and the marginalised.
